The inspiration behind this piece came about when I was asked by Safari Club International to create a unique sculpture for their international fund raising convention. Drawing upon Safari Club Internationals logo, I was inspired to create Pride of the Serengetti. The base for this piece is done in African woods and is formed in the shape of the SCI logo. The proud African Lion, becomes the center focus of this unique piece.
